Write a letter to your friend Srinivas explaining him the importance of planting trees and the advantages of plants. (10 M)
Answer:

Vijayawada,
Dt. xx-xx-xxxx.

Dear Srinivas,

I am doing well. How are you after this summer?

I think you experienced the perishing heat and hot winds all through this summer. After the summer season, we experience rains. But this year, there are no rains in June. Rains are meagre. Environmentalists say that the pollution is the main problem for scanty rainfall. No greenery is found in many areas. Trees are cut down indiscriminately. If there are trees, they check clouds resulting in rains.

The need of the hour is planting trees on a large scale. We have to plant trees every where immediately.

Trees give shade and shelter to birds and animals. They give fruits and vegetables to eat. If we protect trees, trees protect us iii return. Above all, trees control pollution taking carbon dioxide which is a pollutant gas.

So, let us plant trees and protect them giving water and fertilisers timely.
Hope you too understand the importance of trees, Please reply me soon.

Yours sincerely,
Nikit. B.
