Answer:

6/T15
Wardha Apartments
Hyderbad – 08

18th July, 2019.
The District Educational Officer,
Hyderabad.

Sir,

Sub: Request to insist the schools for ample playground.

Though there are a large number of schools, providing education to the children, it is a fact that there is no enough play ground In many of these schools. The schools should have the playground facility and the children should be allowed to use them to the level best because the time they spend in the playgrounds are also equally important for the overall development of the child.

As the management of many of these schools are interested only in developing the educational aspects of the students, the other aspects are often forgotten. There should be some way, by which the students are allowed to have the time in playground also utilised effectively. So, I do hereby request you to insist the school authorities to have the play time allowed to the students, and utilised properly.

Thanking you,

Yours Sincerely,
Pradeep Kumar.

Banjara Hills,
Hyderabad.

Sir,

Sub:- The Missing Childhood.

It is a fact that the most important part of a person’s life is his childhood, and that s what is often found missing in the present day children. Their childhood is a completed enclosed world of school, books, works, study, and at the maximum the artificial play world created by the technology. What are we actually aiming at? A set of robots, who could live, die and decompose?

The elders in the society have to turn back and realise the reason behind the success that they do enjoy now. For sure, their childhood, which was more open and creative, with fun, friends and family had played a greater role. But do they help the younger generation in providing the same? It is high time for them to sit and think.

I don’t mean that children need to go through the troubles and other hardships of life. But they should have an idea regarding what life is and how they have to modulate it. For that they need to face at least some of the realities of the life, which will, in turn, enrich their lives. For that they should get into some of the realities of life. The parents need to take the responsibility of this.

Yours faithfully,
Yamini K.

Question 4.
Write a letter to your cousin, who has got a new job in Mumbai, warning him about the ways of the people, especially that of the youth over there and warning him about the problems of alcohol addiction could cause.
Answer:

Warangal,
25tt June, 2019.

Dear Varun,

Happy to know that you have secured a good job, and is about to get settled in life, a bit earlier.
Congratulations.

As you have started to enjoy your life in Mumbal, being elder I would like to give you a piece of advice, regarding the usage of Alcohol. It which s a common item for the people, especially the young MNC employees. Though I know that you have no such issues, I would like to bring some effects of Alcohol consumption.

As you may know, Alcohol has ruined many familles. People who are alcohol dependent have higher rates of other psychiatric disorders than people in the general population — particularly depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, psychosis and drug misuse. Often, people drink to try and reduce the symptoms (sometimes known as ‘self-medicating’), but in the long term alcohol makes these disorders worse because it interferes with the chemical balance in our brains.

If you drink regularly, your body builds up a tolerance to alcohol. Regular drinking induces certain enzymes in your liver that break up (metabolise) alcohol. If you drink heavily over weeks or months, levels of these enzymes go up, your tolerance builds and you need more alcohol to get the same effects.

The most serious form of alcoholic liver disease, cirrhosis, means the liver has been scarred from continuous, long-term damage. Scar tissue replaces healthy tissue in the liver and prevents the liver from working properly. If you develop cirrhosis, cutting out alcohol completely is essential to prevent you from dying from liver failure. In mnay serious cases of cirrhosis, you wilt only be considered for a liver transplant.

Being dependent on alcohol can affect your relationships with your partner, family and friends. It might mean you don’t perform so welt at work and if that continues for any length of time you could face losing your job, leading to financial problems as welt. These issues can also contribute to depression and anxiety. If you use alcohol to try and improve your mood, you may be starting a vicious cycle.

I do hope that you have enough stuff now, to be kept in your mind, and do not divert the ways.

Yours loving Cousin,
V.J Rao.

To
The Food Inspector,
I Town,
Warangal.

Sir,

I am a resident of flat no. 222, Keerthana Towers, Road no. 85, Ramachandra Square. I regret very much to bring the following to your notice for necessary action.

We are all aware of the ill-effects caused by the adulteration of food and the unfair methods adopted. In hotels and restaurants stale and rotten foods are mixed with fresh food and served to the customers. Fish and vegetables are adulterated by putting chemicals and other preservatives on them in order to make them look fresh. Bakery products are also adulterated by using toxic substances.

Junk food contains harmful chemicals. Even fruits and milk are adulterated. Milk is adulterated by adding urea and other chemicals. Poisonous chemicals are used in the artificial ripening of fruits. In fact, all kinds of food items are adulterated by dishonest and greedy businessmen for a quick and unearned profit. Adulteration may be profitable for the producers, but the after-effects are very severe.

It causes many fatal diseases. It may lead to cancer and other diseases. Hence I request you that you should visit all the places where adulteration takes place from time to time and take necessary action to stop adulteration. I personally feel that the government and public have to work together in order to eradicate this problem. Public awareness should be created so that people become careful about buying foods.

Thanking you,

The Editor,
Eenadu Daily
Somajiguda,
Hyderabad.

Sir,

Through your esteemed newspaper, I would like to invite the attention of the authorities concerned towards the transportaiton facility of our area.

I am a student of Zilla Parishad High School, Utnoor of Adilabad district. My village, Hasnapur is in a remote area, It is far away from the town of Utnoor where I am studying X class. There is no proper busservice to Utnoor from our village. There are a number of boys and girls from certain vil’ages who go to Utnoor. Many people also have to go to the town for working there. Ours is a purely notified tribal agency area where literacy Is low and transportation facility is scarce. How can the school going children get educated when there Is no bus facility ? The existing bus service is not adequate enough for us. This problem affects the life of the residents of the surrounding four or five villages too!

Therefore, I request the authorities of the TSRTC to kindly arrange shuttle bus services from our area to Utnoor at regular intervals mainly in the morning and evening. If the authorities concede this request, at least twenty five to thirty school going children and employees are benefited. I earnestly hope that action is taken at an earliest.

Yours truly
Sambhu Naik.

Sir,

Sub:- Regarding the usage of Gadgets by the youngsters.

I think the youngsters are fast catching up with the problem of getting addicted with the electronic gadgets, with which their life itself is lacing serious troubles. There had been a lot of studies made at different parts of the world, which had already given the warnings.

Though there are enough advantages in using these gadgets, there are a lot of serious side effects as well. Ranging right from missing the common stream of life to that of missing the common aspects of life, the youngsters are missing a lot of things. The problem is that the educational institutions in the city seems to be least cared about these and are allowing the usage of gadgets, without enough monitoring. So I do here by request you to direct these institutions, to take appropriate actions, like bringing awareness in the students about evil effects caused by using the gadgets for hours together.
