It is clearly visible that the maximum amount of water is being used in toilets which is very alarming.26% of the water is used to flush out the wastes of the people from their toilets. The second most water consuming task is washing of clothes. People in the locality use 22% of the water to wash their clothes. The faucets or taps use 17% of the water which provide people with clean and potable water.
The locals also use 16% of the water in shower which is not a good measure. They should instead use a bucket which conserves a lot more water. Leaks also seem to be a major water wastage in the locality. They should be taken care of, and people should take steps on personal level to ensure that the leakages don’t persist for long.
