1. Imagine you were the king Krishnadevaraya. Now narrate an account of what had happened in your court.
Answer:
One day an artist came to my court. He showed me some paintings saying that he had drawn all those and asked me to say how they were. All the paintings I looked at, were really marvellous. Later, he showed me his painting of a village scene, which exhibits two villagers talking face to face, to each other. Near them was a cow. It pleased me well. I expressed my admiration and gave the artist a bag of gold for his paintings. I asked the artist to stay on in my court and make some more beautiful paintings.

The artist was pleased and humbly agreed to do so. All my courtiers except Tenali Raman, whom I like for his wit and humour, liked his paintings. Tenali expressed his dissatisfaction that the paintings of the artist were not so good. I was surprised at his words and asked him to say the reason. He said that in the artist’s painting, the other side of two men was not seen. He also said the face of the cow was not seen. Then I got angry and told him the missing parts were to be imagined. I said everything could not be painted.

To my surprise, Tenali bet me that he could draw a better painting and show it to me. I told him th^t if he did so, I would give him a bag of gold and the title ’King of Artists’. Raman agreed. I gave him the paints he needed and granted him leave from the court for a month for completing his task.

After a month Raman showed me his painting and said that he had painted a beautiful horse. I looked at his painting and said I could not see a horse in his painting. He said the missing parts in his painting were to be imagined. Then I understood his trick and my anger vanished. I gave Tenali a bag of gold and the title ’King of Artists’.

Answer:
A paragraph about the street accident I have seen :

On Saturday 7, July morning at about 9 a.m, I was going to my school, as usual. Then there was heavy traffic in the street. Rickshaws, autos and other vehicles were moving fast. Suddenly a young boy came, riding a bicycle. The boy could not control the handle bar and as a result, he dashed against the rickshaw that was coming in the opposite direction. The boy fell down, at once. He received severe injuries. Some people rushed to the spot. My heart was deeply moved. To the goodness of God, the boy was immediately taken to hospital for immediate treatment. The boy is now all right. I told it to my friends. We have decided to be very careful while walking or riding bicycles in the busy streets or crossing the busy roads.
