I was sitting alone in my house,
Studying the structure of a mouse,
My exams were going on,
And science I hadn’t done.
Suddenly the lights went out,
Then I heard a loud burst,
Someone was there, outside,
I went out to look, full of fright.
I saw a huge rocket,
And an astronaut in white,
He invited me on a flight to the moon,
We reached there by afternoon.
We jumped around,
As we couldn’t walk on the ground.
It was a lot of fun,
I reached home before the setting sun.

But no one knows the secret,

Answer:
No, the child really didn’t go to the moon.

Answer:
The child felt that it was a lot of fun. He could not walk on the ground.

Answer:
As there was no gravity power like on our earth, the astronaut and the child could not walk on the moon.

I would feel thrilling and exciting if I were in the child’s place. It is indescribable feeling of staying in gravity-less place. Words can’t express the experience.

Answer:
I would visit the Mars if I were given a chance, because it resembles our earth. There might be atmosphere and availability of water resources.

Answer:
While writing science test, the child imagined himself as a scientist – astronaut.

1) Name of the place : BHONGIR FORT (Nalgonda Dt.)
Where it situated : 51 Kms away from Hyderabad
Salient features :
It was a tremendous fort. It sits upon a single rock formation on a hill top. More than 500 feet high and spread over an area of 40 acres. The fort was consi-dered a practically impregnable by invading armies.
2) Name of the place : KINNERASANI SANCTUARY
Where is it located : Located 35 kms from Bhadra- chalam and 24 kms from Kothagudem in Khammam District.
It’s importance & salient features :
It is a sanctuary. It forms a part of Dandakaranya forests in Khammam. The sanctuary supports a variety of flora and fauna like tiger, gaur, phython etc. It spreads over 634 sq. kms. It has attraction like Deer park, Glass guest house, and Ecological Park.
3) Name of the place : THOUSAND PILLAR TEMPLE
Where is it situated : Hanumakonda of Warangal city.
Salient features : It is one of the finest specimens of Kakatiya architecture and sculpture. It is a popular
piligrimage centre.
My Trip to the Moon Summary in English
The poet tells his experience like this:
My examinations were going on. I was studying the structure of a mouse. Science exam was not yet completed. Suddenly the lights were off and I heard a loud sound. I was frightened and came out. I saw a huge rocket and an astronaut invited me for a trip to moon. We went there in the afternoon and I returned home before sunset. As we lose light there, we jumped around instead of walking which was really a fun.
