Lomov and Natalya start with the issue like a piece of land that is situated at the border between the two neighbors’ properties. The discussion turns into a quarrel and the marriage proposal is forgotten. They shout at each other. They are again dragged into an argument over the superiority of each other’s dogs. So, they drag their ancestors in their foolish quarrel. They again abuse each other and call names.
Now, make groups of four and discuss the following points: While conducting the f discussion, try to use the facial expressions given above.

a) When Lomov expressed his proposal of marrying Natalya, her father Chubukov was joyful and ecstatic. He hugged and kissed Lomov. In his bliss and euphoria Chubukov sheds tears. In his joyfulness he behaved in an idiotic way and lost his balance. Lomov also moved very much by the way his proposal was appreciated by Natalya’s father Chubukov.
b) In the lives, of the rich and nobles it matters only property – riches, dominance, status and superiority but not for love marriage and humility. Dogs have been given a lot of priority over marriage and love. Lomov’s gullibility is sacked, his submissiveness is overpowered. His dignity is humiliated with ignominous and disgraceful remarks by Natalya and her father.
c) Lomov and Natalya both are obstinate in their claims, opinions. Both are aggressive in nature. Both of them give importance to the properties, lands and even the petty things such as dogs. They don’t have any patience to listen to the other. Natalya, though she was a lovesick cat and wanted to marry Lomov, not knowing about the purpose of his visit to her home started to quarrel with him about the Oxen Meadows and later about the petty thing of dogs. Moreover, she drove him away. And later having known that he had come to propose her she sent for him.
d) If we wanted to have a harmonious and co-operative life there must be mutual understanding, mutual respect for each other. But these fellows – Lomov and especially Natalya did not have the required qualities of good, clear and honest, communication skills, mutual respect and a shared vision for the future.
They should be emotionally supportive, willing to change and they should compromise with each other. This will help the couple to have a peaceful and harmonious life.But Lomov and Natalya don’t have this harmonious nature. These quarrels can never promise a happy and peaceful life. Moreover they will spoil the married life of the couple.
e) If we wanted to have a hormonious, peaceful and co-operative conjugal life they should have the positive qualities such as mutual understanding, mutual respect for each other. They must be patient in listening to other’s arguments. They should have good, clear and honest communicative skills, mutual respect and a shared vision for the future. They should be emotional supportive, willingness to change and compromise with each other to have a peaceful and hormonious conjugal life.
f) Yes. We should all know how to manage our anger and aggression, because relationships need foundations that include mutual support and respect. Anger can escalate into a vicious cycle that makes our conjugal life impossible. If this harmful cycle continues, it tears away at the foundations of the relationships, and you might begin to see your partner as an adversary and not an ally.

These days letters are carried by buses, trains and mail vans. The letters to foreign. countries are carried by ships and aeroplanes. Cards and envelopes are considered first class mail and are carried between stations both land and air transport. Book parcels, registered newspapers and periodicals are called the second class mail. These second type of mails are carried by surface mail covering land and water transport.
To facilitate quick delivery of mails in large towns and cities, six mail channels have been introduced recently. They are Rajadhani Channel, Metro Channel, Green Channel, Business Channel, Bulk Mail Channel and Periodical Channel.

The correct way of addressing a letter is to write the sender’s name, then his father’ name, land mark, street name, area, and the name of the village, Tehasil or Mandal it belongs to and its district’s name and finally the pincode. But there is no correct address to God, since he is ubiquitous or omni present and has no concrete form.
