Solution:
Equations of the lines can be taken as

Find the equation of the straight line parallel to the line 2x + 3y 4- 7 = 0 and passing through the point (5, 4).
Solution:
Equation of the given line is 2x + 3y + 7 = 0

3y – 9 = -2x + 2

Solution:
Equation of the given line is 3x + 4y + 6 = 0

\(\frac{4x}{k}-\frac{3y}{k}\) = 1
