మనకు దూరంగా ఉన్నవారితో మనోభావాలను పంచుకోవడానికి ఉపయోగపడే ప్రక్రియ లేఖ. లేఖలను మిత్రులకు, బంధువులకు, అధికార్లకు రాస్తారు. లేఖల్లో అధికారిక లేఖలు, ఆత్మీయ లేఖలు, విజ్ఞప్తులు – ఇలా చాలా రకాలు ఉన్నాయి.

7. “మంథర” పాత్ర స్వభావం రాయండి.
జవాబు:
మంథర దశరథుని చిన్న భార్య కైకేయికి దాసి. కైక వెంట పుట్టింటి నుంచి వచ్చిన అరణపుదాసి. అందుకని తన రాణి కుమారుడైన `భరతుడు రాజు కావాలని, కైక పట్టమహిషి కావాలని ఆశపడింది. కైకతో “రాముడు రాజైతే కౌసల్య రాజమాత అవుతుందని, అప్పుడు మాతోపాటు నీవు దాసివవుతావని, రామునికి నీ కొడుకు దాస్యం చేయాల్సి వస్తుందని, కనుక భరతునికి రాజ్యాధికారం దక్కేటట్లు, రాముడు అడవుల పాలయ్యేటట్లు చూడమని” ఎన్నో దుర్బోధలు చేసి రాముని మీద ప్రేమ విరిచింది. కైక దశరథుని వరాలు కోరి రాముని వనవాసం పంపేట్లు చేసింది.

వర్ణనలకు ఆద్యుడని పేరు పొందిన ఎఱ్ఱన వెన్నెలను ఎంతో మనోహరంగా వర్ణించాడు. దిక్కులు అనే కొమ్మలతో, వెలుగులీనే ‘చుక్కలు’ అనే పూలతో ఆకాశం పెద్ద చెట్టులాగా కనిపిస్తున్నది. ఆ పూలను అందుకోడానికి కిరణాలు అనే తన చేతులను పొడవుగా జాపుతూ చంద్రుడు పైపైకి వచ్చాడు.

పాల సముద్రం నుంచి పుట్టిన వెన్నెల ఉప్పొంగి దిక్కులన్నిటినీ ముంచెత్తింది. అప్పుడు చంద్రబింబం శేషపానుపులాగా ఉన్నది. చంద్రునిలోని మచ్చ ఆ పాన్పు మీద పడుకున్న విష్ణువులాగా ఉన్నది.

వెన్నెలలో కలువ పూలు రేకులు విచ్చుకొని వాలిపోయిన కేసరాలు తిరిగి బలంగా నిలుచున్నాయి. పుప్పొడి మీద తేనెలు పొంగిపొరలి తుమ్మెదలకు విందుచేశాయి. కమ్మని సువాసనలు చుట్టూ వ్యాపించాయి.

వెన్నెల వర్షంలో చంద్రకాంత శిలలు కరిగిపోయాయి. ఎగిరే చకోర పక్షుల రెక్కలను తాకుతూ కలువపూలపై వ్యాపించింది వెన్నెల. స్త్రీల మనోహరమైన చిరునవ్వులను అధికం చేస్తూ దిక్కులను ముంచెత్తుతూ అంతటా వ్యాపించింది వెన్నెల.

అందంగా, గంభీరంగా, సమున్నతంగా విస్తరించింది వెన్నెల. రాత్రి అనే ఆలోచన రానీయక, చీకటి ఎక్కడా కనబడనీయక కళ్ళకు అమృతపు జల్లులాగా, శరీరానికి మంచి గంధం పూతలాగా, మనసుకు ఆనంద తరంగంలాగా వెన్నెల హాయిని కలిగించిందని వర్ణిస్తూ కవి ఎఱ్ఱన వెన్నెలను చూసి స్పందించాడు.

5. రాముడు, హరిశ్చంద్రుడు, గాంధీజీ వంటి వారి జీవితాల ద్వారా ఎన్ని కష్టాలు వచ్చినా ధర్మబద్ధంగా జీవించడం, నిజం చెప్పడం అనేవి నైతిక విలువల ద్వారానే సాధ్యమయ్యాయి.

9. “సీతారామ కల్యాణం” గురించి రాయండి.

మిథిలానగర ప్రవేశం : విశ్వామిత్ర రామలక్ష్మణులు అహల్యాశాపవిముక్తి తరువాత మిథిలానగరానికి చేరుకున్నారు. మిథిలానగర ప్రభువు జనకమహారాజు వారిని సాదరంగా ఆహ్వానించాడు.

శివధనుర్భంగం : జనకుడు మరునాడుదయం విశ్వామిత్ర రామలక్ష్మణులను ఆహ్వానించాడు. విశ్వామిత్రుడు జనకునితో ‘వీరు దశరథుని పుత్రులు. నీ ధనుస్సును చూద్దామని వచ్చారు. చూపించు శుభం కలుగుతుంది’ అని అన్నాడు. జనకుడు శివధనుస్సు చరిత్రను వివరించాడు. యాగం కోసం పొలం దున్నుతుండగా నాగలిచాలులో తన కూతురు సీత దొరికిందని చెప్పాడు. శివధనుస్సును . ఎక్కుపెట్టినవాడికే సీతనిచ్చి పెళ్ళిచేస్తానని చెప్పాడు. ఎందరో రాజులు శివధనుస్సు ఎక్కుపెట్టడానికి ప్రయత్నంచేశారు కాని కనీసం కదపలేకపోయారని చెప్పాడు. ఐదువేల మంది శివధనుస్సు ఉన్న పెట్టెను తెచ్చారు. రాముడు ఎక్కుపెట్టగానే శివధనుస్సు వంగింది. రాముడు అల్లెతాడును చెవివరకు లాగేసరికి ధనుస్సు పెద్దశబ్దం చేస్తూ విరిగిపోయింది.

కల్యాణం : జనకుడు అన్నమాటప్రకారం సీతారాముల వివాహం జరపడానికి సిద్ధమయ్యాడు. దశరథుడు జనకుని వర్తమానంతో సకుటుంబంగా వచ్చాడు. సీతారాముల కల్యాణం అంగరంగవైభవంగా జరిగింది.

సముద్రాన్ని దాటి లంకను చేరడం కోసం శ్రీరాముడు సముద్రుణ్ణి ఉపాసించాడు. మూడు రాత్రులు గడిచాయి. సముద్రుడు ప్రత్యక్షంకాలేదు. శ్రీరాముని కన్నులు ఎర్రబడ్డాయి. సముద్రుడి అహంకారాన్ని అణగదొక్కాలనుకొన్నాడు. సముద్రంలోని నీరంతా ఇంకిపోయేటట్లు చేయాలనుకున్నాడు. బ్రహ్మాస్త్రాన్ని స్మరించాడు. ప్రకృతి అంతా అల్లకల్లోలం అయింది. సముద్రుడు భయపడి పారిపోతున్నాడు. బాణం ప్రయోగించాలని భావించాడు శ్రీరాముడు. దానితో సముద్రుడు దారికి వచ్చాడు. లంకకు వెళ్ళడానికి దారి ఇస్తానన్నాడు.

విశ్వకర్మ కుమారుడైన ‘నలుడు’ శిల్పకళానిపుణుడు. ఉత్సాహం, శక్తి ఉన్నవాడు. సేతువును నిర్మించడానికి అతడే యోగ్యుడని సముద్రుడు చెప్పాడు. ఆ సేతువును తాను భరిస్తానని సముద్రుడు మాట ఇచ్చాడు. సేతువు నిర్మాణానికి వానర నాయకులకు ఇచ్చాడు శ్రీరాముడు. మహారణ్యం నుండి చెట్లను, బండరాళ్ళను మోసుకువస్తున్నారు. సముద్రంలో పడేస్తున్నారు. వాటి దెబ్బకు సముద్రంలోని నీరు ఆకాశానికి ఎగిరిపడుతోంది. నలుని సూచనలను అనుసరించి కొలతల ప్రకారం సేతునిర్మాణం జరుగుతోంది. వంద యోజనాల పొడవు, పది యోజనాల వెడల్పుగల సేతువును కట్టడం ఐదురోజుల్లో పూర్తి చేశారు.

Urine Formation:

i) Glomerular filtration :
Blood flows inside the glomerulus under the influence of pressure due to the narrowness of efferent arteriole. As a result it undergoes pressure filtration or ultra filtration. Waste molecules, nutrient molecules and water are filtered out and enter the Bowman’s capsule.

ii) Tubular reabsorption : The peritubular capillaries around PCT reabsorb all the useful components of primary urine such as glucose, amino acids, vitamin C, Potassium, Calcium, Sodium, Chlorides and 75% of Water.

iii) Tubular secretion : It is the active secretion of waste products by blood capillaries into the urinary tubule. It ensures removal of all the waste products from blood, viz., urea, uric acid, creatinine, salt ions like K+, Na+ and H+ ions. This maintains proper concentration and pH of
urine.

Mechanism of urine formation

The urine formed in different stages is collected by the collecting tubes. Later they send the urine to pelvis. Pelvis carry the urine to ureters. Ureters carry urine to urinary bladder. Due to the affect of hormone vasopressin urine is passed out.

Procedure:

1. Place some water plant like Hydrilla or Elodea in a short stemmed funnel and keep it in a beaker.
2. Then pour some water in the beaker.
3. Invert a test-tube full of water over the stem of the funnel.
4. See that the level of water in the beaker is above the level of stem of the inverted funnel.
5. Make two identical sets in the above procedure.
6. Place one apparatus in the sun and other one in the dark for at least 2-3 hours.

Observations:

1. In the setup in sun, in place of water there is air that fills the test tube.
2. It is not happening in the set up that is placed in dark.
3. When the gas in the test-tube is tested by inserting a glowing match stick/incense stick it would bum into flames.

Result:
It is proved that oxygen is evolved during photosynthesis in the presence of light.

కైక దశరథుని ప్రియమైన భార్య. రామునికి పినతల్లి. రాముని తన కుమారుడైన భరతునితో సమంగా ప్రేమించేది. రాముని పట్టాభిషేకం వార్త విని ఎంతో ఆనందించింది. కాని దాసి మంథర చేసిన దుర్బోధల వల్ల ఆమె మనసు మారిపోయింది. దశరథునితో కఠినంగా ప్రవర్తించి తన కుమారునికి పట్టాభిషేకము, రామునికి పదునాలుగేళ్ళ వనవాసము అనే కోరికలు కోరింది. రామునికి తండ్రి ఆజ్ఞ వినిపించి అడవులకు పంపింది. దశరథుని మరణానికి కారణమైంది. ఇది సహించలేని కుమారుడు భరతునిచే చీత్కరింపబడింది. అలా సున్నితమైన స్వభావం కలదైనప్పటికీ దుర్బోధల వల్ల కఠినశిలగా మారి అనర్థాలకు కారణమైంది.

• ఇలా రెండురోజులు జరిగేసరికి, బాధపడి కోపంతో భిక్షాపాత్రను ముక్కలు ముక్కలయ్యేటట్లు నట్టనడి వీథిలో విసిరికొట్టి ఆవేశంతో కాశీని శపించబోయాడు వ్యాసుడు.

ప్రకృతి – కళలు : మనిషి కళ్ళు తెరవగానే తన చుట్టూ ఉన్న ప్రకృతి అందాలను చూసి పరవశించాడు. నాటి నుంచి ప్రకృతిని తన కనుసన్నల్లో ఉంచే ప్రయత్నం చేశాడు. కాలికి గజ్జె కట్టి పాటకు అనుగుణంగా లయాత్మకంగా చిందులు వేశాడు. ఆదిమానవుడు ప్రకృతి ఒడినే పాఠశాలగా చేసుకొని కళాభినివేశాన్ని అలవరచుకొన్నాడు.

మనిషి మేధస్సు : చక్రాన్ని, లిపిని, కనుగొని తన ప్రస్థానంలో విజ్ఞానంవైపు అడుగులు వేశాడు. చక్రం మానవ చలనానికి దోహదపడగా లిపి భావ సంచలనానికి దోహదపడింది. వాటి సహాయంతో మానవుడు రాతియుగపు చీకటిని చీల్చుకొంటూ నవీన విజ్ఞానంవైపు ప్రస్థానం సాగించాడు. నిప్పును కనుగొనడం, వ్యవసాయం ప్రారంభించడం, కళలను ఆవిష్కరించడం మొదలైనవన్నీ అతని ప్రస్థానంలోని గొప్ప సంఘటనలు.

ముగింపు : కళలు, విజ్ఞాన కాంతులతో జీవన ప్రయాణంలో నేల నుండి నింగికెగిరిన మానవుడే శాశ్వతుడయ్యాడు. మనిషి కాలగర్భంలో కలిసిపోయినా అతని మేధస్సులో నుంచి ఆవిష్కృతమైన కళ, కవిత్వం, విజ్ఞానం సకల మానవాళికీ ఎట్లా జీవించాలో చూపించాయి. మానవుణ్ణి శాశ్వతుణ్ణి చేస్తున్నాయి.

దశరథుడు శ్రీరామునికి యువరాజుగా పట్టం కట్టాలని ఆలోచించాడు. అందరూ సంతోషించారు. అయోధ్యానగరంలో పండుగ వాతావరణం చోటుచేసుకున్నది. దశరథుని చిన్నభార్య కైకేయికి ఆమె దాసి మంథర దుర్బోధలు చేసింది. “నీ కొడుకు భరతుడు రాజైతే నీవు పట్టపురాణివి ఔతావు. లేకుంటే నీవు కౌసల్యకు, నీ కొడుకు రామునికి సేవకుల్లా బతకాల్సిందే” అని చెప్పింది.

కైక తన మందిరానికి వచ్చిన దశరథుని రెండు వరాలు కోరింది. రాజు సంతోషంతో ఇస్తానని చెప్పాడు. వెంటనే రామునికి పదునాలుగేళ్ళు వనవాసం, భరతునికి పట్టాభిషేకం అనే రెండు వరాలు కోరింది. దశరథుడు దుఃఖంతో కుప్పకూలిపోయాడు. కైక రామునికి కబురు పంపింది. దశరథుడు తనకిచ్చిన వరాల గురించి చెప్పింది. తండ్రి ఆజ్ఞను శిరసావహించి రాముడు సీతాలక్ష్మణులతో కలిసి అడవులకు వెళ్ళాడు.

వాలి,సుగ్రీవులు అన్నదమ్ములు. వాలి మహాబలశాలి. పెద్దవాడు కనుక తండ్రి తరువాత కిష్కింధకు రాజైనాడు. మాయావి అనే రాక్షసుడికి, వాలికి వైరం. ఒకనాటి అర్ధరాత్రి మాయావి కిష్కింధకు వచ్చి వాలిని యుద్ధానికి ఆహ్వానించాడు. ఎవరెంతగా వారించినా వాలి వినకుండా వానితో పోరుకు సిద్ధమయ్యాడు. మాయావి భయంతో వెనుదిరిగి పిక్కబలం చూపాడు. మాయావి ఒక పెద్ద భూగృహంలోకి వెళ్ళాడు. వాలి ఆవేశంతో ఊగిపోతున్నాడు. సుగ్రీవుని బిలద్వారం దగ్గరే ఉండమని మాయావిని చంపి వస్తానని వెళ్లాడు. సంవత్సరమైంది. వాలి జాడేలేదు. ఇంతలో నురుగుతోకూడిన రక్తం గుహలో నుంచి బయటకు వచ్చింది.

మాయావిచేతిలో వాలి చనిపోయాడనుకుని, రాక్షసుడు బయటకు వస్తాడేమోనని, సుగ్రీవుడు కొండంత బండతో బిలద్వారాన్ని మూసేశాడు. కిష్కింధకు వచ్చాడు. మంత్రులు బలవంతంగా సుగ్రీవుని రాజును చేశారు. కొంతకాలానికి వాలి తిరిగి వచ్చాడు. సుగ్రీవుని రాజ్యభ్రష్టుణ్ణి చేయడమేకాక, అతని భార్య రుమను అపహరించాడు. ప్రాణభీతితో సుగ్రీవుడు సమస్త భూమండలం తిరిగాడు. చివరకు ఋష్యమూక పర్వతాన్ని చేరుకున్నాడు. మతంగముని శాపం కారణంగా వాలి అక్కడకు రాలేడు. వాలి దుందుభి అనే రాక్షసుణ్ణి చంపి విసరివేసినప్పుడు ఆ రాక్షసుడి నోటినుండి రక్తబిందువులు మతంగాశ్రమం మీద పడ్డాయి. అందుకు కోపించిన ముని ఋష్యమూక పర్వతం మీద కాలు పెడితే వాలి మరణిస్తాడని శపించాడు’. ఇలా వాలీ, సుగ్రీవుల మధ్య వైరం ఏర్పడింది.

దేశరాజధాని నడిరోడ్డులో నిర్భయపై జరిగిన అత్యాచారంగానీ, నిన్నగాకమొన్న ముంబయిలో అనూహ్యపైన జరిగిన అత్యాచారంగానీ చూస్తుంటే ప్రపంచం ముందు భారతదేశం సిగ్గుతో తలవంచుకోవలసిన పరిస్థితి ఏర్పడింది.

అయితే ఇటువంటి సంఘటనలు చూసి స్త్రీ సమాజం భయపడాల్సిన అవసరం లేదు. నేడు స్త్రీలు ఉన్నత విద్యను చదువుతున్నారు. ఉన్నత పదవుల్లో ఉన్నారు. రాజకీయంగా ఎదిగారు. ప్రధానమంత్రులు, రాష్ట్రపతులు, ముఖ్యమంత్రులు, హెూంమినిష్టర్లు, కలెక్టర్లు, డాక్టర్లు – ఇలా ఎన్నోరంగాల్లో ఉన్నత స్థాయికి ఎదిగారు. మహిళల్లో చైతన్యం రావాలి. చట్టాలు తీసుకురావాలి. వాటిని గట్టిగా అమలుపరచాలి. చట్టాలు చేయడంలో స్త్రీల భాగస్వామ్యం ఉండాలి. ఎందరో స్త్రీలు లాయర్లుగా, న్యాయమూర్తులుగా కూడా ఉ న్నారు. ప్రొఫెసర్లు, మేధావులు ఉన్నారు. వీరంతా కూడా సంఘాలుగా ఏర్పడి మహిళాలోకానికి ధైర్యం చెప్పాలి. పురుషులు కూడా మహిళలకు ధైర్యాన్ని కలుగజేయాలి. దాడులను ధైర్యంగా ఎదుర్కోవాలిగానీ, అధైర్యపడి ఎదుటివాళ్ళకు అవకాశం ఇవ్వకూడదు.

4. The entire apparatus is kept in the sunlight for few hours.
5. After few hours of exposure to bright sunlight, the leaf which is covered by black paper is tested for the presence of starch.

Observation :
It is observed that only the parts of the leaf, which got light through the cut design, turns blue-black showing the presence of starch.

Inference :
This experiment proves that light is necessary for photosynthesis.

(B) Electric Motor: An electric motor is a device that converts electrical energy into mechanical energy.
Principle: It works on the principle that a current-carrying conductor placed in a magnetic field experiences
a force.

Working Procedure:

• It comprises an armature, a strong horseshoe-type magnet, split rings, and carbon brushes.
• Initially let the plane of the coil in a horizontal position.
• The split ring C touches brush B2 and split ring C₂ touches brush B₂ when the current flows in the direction ABCD as shown in the figure.
• According to the right-hand rule, no force acts on arm CB and DA because they are parallel to the magnetic field.
• The force acting on the arm AB pushes it downwards while the force acting on the arm CD pushes it upwards. So the armature rotates in the anti-clockwise direction.
• After half a rotation the split ring C₁ comes in contact with brush B, and C₂ in contact with brush B₁. So the current in the coil is reversed and flows in the direction of DCBA.
• If the direction of the current in the coil is unchanged the coil gets to and fro motion.
• In an electric motor, the split rings act as a commutator which reverses the direction of the flow of current through a circuit.
• Now the coil rotates continuously in the anti-clockwise direction.

(A) Aim: Obtaining a relation between the angle of incidence and the angle of refraction.
Materials Required: Pro circle, scale, small black painted plank, a semi-circular glass disc of thickness nearly 2 cm, pencil, and laser light.
Procedure:
(i) Take a wooden plank that is covered with the white chart.
(ii) Draw two perpendicular lines, passing through the middle of the paper as shown in the figure.

(iii) Let the point of intersection be O. Mark one line as NN which is normal to the other line marked as MM.
(iv) Here MM represents the line drawn along the interface of two media and NN represents the normal drawn to this line at ‘O’.
(v) Now place a semi-circular glass disc so that its diameter coincides with the interface line (MM) and its center coincides with point O.
(vi) Point a laser light along NN in such a way that the light propagates from air to glass through the interface at point O and observe the path of laser light coming from the other side of the disc.

(vii) Send laser light along a line that makes 15° (angle of incidence) with NN and see that it passes through point O. Measure its corresponding angle of refraction, by observing laser light coming from the other side (circular side) of the glass slab.

Materials Required: Test tube, delivery tube, glass trough, candle, soap water, dil. HCl and zinc granules.

(i) Take about 10 ml of dil. HCl acid in a test tube and add a few zinc granules to it.
(ii) We will observe the formation of gas bubbles on the surface of zinc granules.

(iii) Pass the gas being formed through the soap solution taken in a trough using a delivery tube.
(iv) Gas-filled bubbles are formed in the soap solution which rises into the air

రైలు ప్రయాణంలో తటస్థపడిన ఓ బాలుణ్ణి చేరదీసి విద్యాబుద్ధులు చెప్పిస్తే ఎదిగిన ఆ వ్యక్తి చూపే కృతజ్ఞతా భావం, వాళ్ళ మధ్య ఉండే మానవ సంబంధాలు తెలియజెప్పడమే “గోరంత దీపాలు” పాఠం ఉద్దేశం.

భారతీయ సంస్కృతి – పరమత సహనం :
వ్యక్తిత్వం అంటే మాటలకూ, చేతలకూ తేడా లేనితనం. శివాజీకి హిందూమతం పట్ల, మనదేశ సంప్రదాయాల పట్ల గౌరవం ఎక్కువ. ఇతర మతాల వారినీ, వారి ఆచారాలను, సంప్రదాయాలను గౌరవించేవాడు. పరమత సహనం కలవాడు. సైనికులకు ఆజ్ఞలను జారీ చేసి, వాటిని సక్రమంగా నిర్వహించేటట్లు చూసేవాడు. ఇతరులకు అపకారం తలపెట్టేవాడు కాదు. తోటివారిపట్ల ప్రేమాదరాలతో మెలిగేవాడు. తన సైనికులు గానీ, అధికారులు గానీ తప్పు చేస్తే సహించేవాడుకాదు.

పరస్త్రీ కూడా కన్నతల్లి లాంటిదే :
స్త్రీల విషయంలో శివాజీ ప్రత్యేక శ్రద్ధ చూపించేవాడు. పరస్త్రీలను కన్నతల్లిగా భావించేవాడు. ఒకసారి సోన్దేవుడు పుణ్యస్త్రీని బీజాపురం నుండి బందీగా పట్టి తెచ్చినందుకు ఆయనపై కోపాన్ని ప్రదర్శించాడు. దానికి సోన్దేవుడు తన తప్పును క్షమించమని ప్రార్థించగా, మన్నించిన శాంతస్వభావుడు. స్త్రీల పట్ల గౌరవభావంతో ఉండేవాడు. స్త్రీలు పుణ్యదేవతలనీ, వారిని అవమానించడం మన హిందూ సంప్రదాయం కాదని గట్టిగా చెప్పాడు.

స్త్రీలు భారతావని కల్పలతలు :
అనసూయ, సావిత్రి, సీత, సుమతి మొదలైనవారు పతివ్రతలనీ, భారతదేశానికి కీర్తి ప్రతిష్ఠలు తెచ్చిపెట్టిన కల్పలతలని కొనియాడాడు. స్త్రీలను అవమానించినవారు వంశంతో సహా నాశనమయ్యారని వివరించాడు.

హనుమంతుడు సీతాన్వేషణకు బయలుదేరాడు. తన శరీరాన్ని పెద్దదిగా పెంచాడు. అతడడుగులు వేసిన చోట పిడుగు పడ్డట్టు కొండరాళ్ళు పగిలిపోయాయి. చేతితో చరచినపుడు ఏనుగులు, సింహాలు బెదరి పారిపోయాయి. హనుమంతుడు చేసిన ఈ చేష్టల వర్ణన స్వభావోక్తి అలంకారంలో ఉంది.

కొండమీదినుండి హనుమంతుడు ఒక్క ఊపున పైకెగరగానే చూసే వాళ్ళందరికీ హనుమంతుడు కాక కొండే ఆకాశానికెగిరిందేమో అనిపించింది.

హనుమంతుడు ఎగురుతున్నప్పుడు వచ్చిన తీవ్రమైన గాలికి సముద్రం రెండు పాయలుగా చీలి పాతాళ లోకం తలుపులు తెరుచుకున్నట్లయింది. ఆ పాయ రాబోయే కాలంలో రాముడు కట్టబోయే సేతువుకు దారంతో కొలుస్తున్నట్లున్నది. రాముడి కోపం లంకవరకు పారడానికి తవ్విన కాలువలాగా ఉన్నది. భూమికి కొత్త వస్త్రమిచ్చి పాత నల్లని వస్త్రము చించినట్లున్నది. ఇవి ఉత్ప్రేక్షలు. ‘ రామభద్రకవి ఊహాశక్తి అద్భుతం.

9. “సీతారామ కల్యాణం” గురించి రాయండి.

శివధనుర్భంగం : జనకుడు మరునాడుదయం విశ్వామిత్ర రామలక్ష్మణులను ఆహ్వానించాడు. విశ్వామిత్రుడు జనకునితో ‘వీరు ‘దశరథుని పుత్రులు. నీ ధనుస్సును చూద్దామని వచ్చారు. చూపించు శుభం కలుగుతుంది’ అని అన్నాడు. జనకుడు శివధనుస్సు చరిత్రను వివరించాడు. యాగం కోసం పొలం దున్నుతుండగా నాగలిచాలులో తన కూతురు సీత దొరికిందని చెప్పాడు. శివధనుస్సును ఎక్కుపెట్టినవాడికే సీతనిచ్చి పెళ్ళిచేస్తానని చెప్పాడు. ఎందరో రాజులు శివధనుస్సు ఎక్కుపెట్టడానికి ప్రయత్నంచేశారు కాని కనీసం కదపలేకపోయారని చెప్పాడు. ఐదువేల మంది శివధనుస్సు ఉన్న పెట్టెను తెచ్చారు. రాముడు ఎక్కుపెట్టగానే శివధనుస్సు వంగింది. రాముడు అల్లెతాడును చెవివరకు లాగేసరికి ధనుస్సు పెద్దశబ్దం చేస్తూ విరిగిపోయింది.

కల్యాణం : జనకుడు అన్నమాటప్రకారం సీతారాముల వివాహం జరపడానికి సిద్ధమయ్యాడు. దశరథుడు జనకుని వర్తమానంతో సకుటుంబంగా వచ్చాడు. సీతారాముల కల్యాణం అంగరంగవైభవంగా జరిగింది.

సముద్రాన్ని దాటి లంకను చేరడం కోసం శ్రీరాముడు సముద్రుణ్ణి ఉపాసించాడు. మూడు రాత్రులు గడిచాయి. సముద్రుడు ప్రత్యక్షంకాలేదు. శ్రీరాముని కన్నులు ఎర్రబడ్డాయి. సముద్రుడి అహంకారాన్ని అణగదొక్కాలనుకొన్నాడు. సముద్రంలోని నీరంతా ఇంకిపోయేటట్లు చేయాలనుకున్నాడు. బ్రహ్మాస్త్రాన్ని స్మరించాడు. ప్రకృతి అంతా అల్లకల్లోలం అయింది. సముద్రుడు భయపడి పారిపోతున్నాడు. బాణం ప్రయోగించాలని భావించాడు శ్రీరాముడు. దానితో సముద్రుడు దారికి వచ్చాడు. లంకకు వెళ్ళడానికి దారి ఇస్తానన్నాడు.

విశ్వకర్మ కుమారుడైన ‘నలుడు’ శిల్పకళానిపుణుడు. ఉత్సాహం, శక్తి ఉన్నవాడు. సేతువును నిర్మించడానికి అతడే యోగ్యుడని సముద్రుడు చెప్పాడు. ఆ సేతువును తాను భరిస్తానని సముద్రుడు మాట ఇచ్చాడు. సేతువు నిర్మాణానికి వానర నాయకులకు ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చాడు శ్రీరాముడు. మహారణ్యం నుండి చెట్లను, బండరాళ్ళను మోసుకువస్తున్నారు. సముద్రంలో పడేస్తున్నారు. వాటి దెబ్బకు సముద్రంలోని, నీరు ఆకాశానికి ఎగిరిపడుతోంది. నలుని సూచనలను అనుసరించి కొలతల ప్రకారం సేతునిర్మాణం జరుగుతోంది. వంద యోజనాల పొడవు, పది యోజనాల వెడల్పుగల సేతువును కట్టడం ఐదురోజుల్లో పూర్తి చేశారు.

దేశరాజధాని నడిరోడ్డులో నిర్భయపై జరిగిన అత్యాచారంగానీ, నిన్నగాక మొన్న ముంబయిలో అనూహ్యపైన జరిగిన అత్యాచారంగానీ చూస్తుంటే ప్రపంచం ముందు భారతదేశం సిగ్గుతో తలవంచుకోవలసిన పరిస్థితి ఏర్పడింది.

అయితే ఇటువంటి సంఘటనలు చూసి స్త్రీ సమాజం భయపడాల్సిన అవసరం లేదు. నేడు స్త్రీలు ఉన్నత విద్యను చదువుతున్నారు. ఉన్నత పదవుల్లో ఉన్నారు. రాజకీయంగా ఎదిగారు. ప్రధానమంత్రులు, రాష్ట్రపతులు, ముఖ్యమంత్రులు, హెూంమినిష్టర్లు, కలెక్టర్లు, డాక్టర్లు – ఇలా ఎన్నోరంగాల్లో ఉన్నత స్థాయికి ఎదిగారు. మహిళల్లో చైతన్యం రావాలి. చట్టాలు తీసుకురావాలి. వాటిని గట్టిగా. అమలుపరచాలి. చట్టాలు చేయడంలో స్త్రీల భాగస్వామ్యం ఉండాలి. ఎందరో స్త్రీలు లాయర్లుగా, న్యాయమూర్తులుగా కూడా ఉన్నారు. ప్రొఫెసర్లు, మేధావులు ఉన్నారు. వీరంతా కూడా సంఘాలుగా ఏర్పడి మహిళాలోకానికి ధైర్యం చెప్పాలి. పురుషులు కూడా మహిళలకు ధైర్యాన్ని కలుగజేయాలి. దాడులను ధైర్యంగా ఎదుర్కోవాలిగానీ, అధైర్యపడి ఎదుటివాళ్ళకు అవకాశం ఇవ్వకూడదు.

8. After sometime add a drop of diluted tincture Iodine solution to test tubes containing the solution.

Observation:

1. The solution of the test tube to which saliva is added shows no colour change as starch is converted to sugar.
2. There is a colour change to black in the other test tube to which saliva is not added.

Precautions while doing the experiment:

1. Do the procedure gently while adding the reagents.
2. We should see that there must be equal division of flour and iodine mixture solution before testing with saliva.

Testing pH of saliva:

1. Collect a strip of pH paper with a colour chart from chemistry teacher.
2. Take a small piece of the pH paper and touch it to your tongue.

• m₁ has integer values between -l and +l including zero. Thus for a certain value of ‘l’ there are (2l + 1) integer values for m₁. They are -l, -l + 1,….., 0, l – 1, 1.
• These values describe the orientation of the orbital in space relative to the other orbitals in the atom when it is kept in a strong magnetic field.

Important Postulates:

• VSEPR Theory considers electrons in the valence shell which are in covalent bonds and lone pair as charge clouds that repel one another and stay as far apart as possible. This is the reason why molecule gets specific shapes.
• The total number of electron pairs in the die valence shell as covalent bonds and lone pairs in the central atom will help us to predict the arrangement of those pairs around the nucleus of the central atom and from that the shape of the molecule.
• Lone pairs occupy more space around the central atom than bond pairs. A lone pair means unshared electron pairs or non-bond pairs are shared by two nuclei.
• The presence of lone pairs on the central atom causes slight distortion of the bond angles from the expected regular shape. If the angle between the lone pair and the bond pair increases at the central atom due to more repulsion, the actual bond angles between atoms must be decreased.

a) Let us assume \(\sqrt{3}\) is rational.
If it is rational, then there must exist two integers ‘r’ and ‘s’
(S ≠ 0) such that \(\sqrt{3}\) = \(\frac{\mathrm{r}}{\mathrm{s}}\)
If ‘r’ and ‘s have a common factor other than 1. Then we divide by the common factor to get \(\sqrt{3}\) = \(\frac{\mathrm{r}}{\mathrm{s}}\),
where a’ and ‘b’ are co-prime.
So b\(\sqrt{3}\) = a
On squaring both sides and rearranging, we get
3b² = a²
∴ 3 divides a²
⇒ 3 divides a
So, we can write a = 3c, for some integer ‘c’
Substituting for a, we get 3b² = (3)²
⇒ 3b² = 9c²
⇒ b² = 3cb²
This means 3 divides b2
⇒ 3 divides b
∴ Both ‘a’ and ‘b’ have 3 as a common factor.
But this contradicts the fact that ‘a’ and ‘b’ are co-prime.
This contradiction has arisen because of our assumption that \(\sqrt{3}\) is rational.
Thus our assumption is false.
\(\sqrt{3}\) is irrational.

b) Given sec θ + tan θ = p ………. (1)
We have sec^<2θ – tan²θ = 1
⇒ (secθ + tanθ) (secθ – tanθ)
⇒ secθ – tanθ = \(\frac{1}{\mathrm{p}}\) ……… (2)
By adding equations (1) and (2), we get
