In a household, the mother takes care of the interests of her husband and children, father works, brothers give relief, teachers preach and the elders offer advice. ग्रमे यत्र गृहे समैक्यपरता सा धर्मभूमिर्मम | The people work selflessly, are engaged in meditation, prayers and contemplation. The wisdom of the sages ensures the welfare of the world, strengthens culture and enriches the knowledge.

दोर्बल.प्रभाकरशर्मा त्रिलिङ्गाणे मेदकजनपदे रामायम्पेटपट्टणे अनन्तलक्ष्मी रत्नदीक्षितदम्पत्योः तृतीयः पुत्रः। इन्दुपुरे भाग्यनगरे च विट्ठलशास्त्रि, को कं शठकोपरामानुजाचार्य, वरखेट.कृष्णाचार्य, खण्डवल्लि.नरसिंहशास्त्रि, समुद्राल, श्रीनिवासाचार्यप्रभृतीनां सन्निधौ संस्कृतसाहित्यव्याकरणादिषु विशेषेण न्यायशास्त्रे परिश्रमं कृतवान् अग्रजविश्वनाथशर्मणः प्रेरणया। गोदावरीतीरे पश्चिमे गोपुरे आन्ध्रगीर्वाणविद्यापीठे ३८ वर्षाणि आचार्यप्राचार्यपदम् अलंकृतवान्। २०० अधिकं संस्कृताष्टावधानानि २ शतावधाने प्रदर्शितवान्। इदानीं तद्विद्यासंस्थापालन सेवाकार्ये वर्तते। तिरुपतिराष्ट्रियसंस्कृतविद्यापीठेन महामहोपाध्याय पदेन सत्कृतः। अस्य नैकगीतानि रचनानि संस्कृतलोके प्रसिद्धानि। श्रीपादश्रीवल्लभकाव्यं पञ्चसहस्रश्लोकात्मकम् अनेन व्यरचि। अनेन बाल्ये एव पठनकाले १९६५ वर्षे सम्भाषणोद्यम आरब्धः गानं नृत्यं नाटकादिकं प्रयुक्ते, इदानीमपि ।।

1. क्षान्तिः संस्कारगन्धोऽभिनवमधुरता स्नेह आसक्तिरूपे
योगैक्यं मार्दवं वाग् अभिनवसुविशालत्वयुग् धीर् अरुक् च।
सन्तृप्तिर् ह्लादकत्वं निरवधि च सुखं सन्ततिश्चाशिषः स्युः
यत्रैते मानवानां प्रकृतिशुभगुणाः मातृभूमिर्हि सा मे ॥
भाव (Substance) :
That is my motherland where the people are blessed with the natural good qualities of forbearance, the fragrance of culture, sweetness, friendship, submerging in contemplation, gentleness, broadminded speech, intellect, health, contentment, pleasantness, limitless happiness and good progeny.
2. छन्दःपादचराः निरुक्तमयसश्रोत्राः समस्तश्रियः
शिक्षाप्राणशभा स्वधर्मशिशवः कल्पाग्रहरताः शिवाः।
शुभ्राः व्याकरणाननाः जयकृतः सज्ज्यौतिषेक्षान्विताः
यत्रैताः श्रुतिधेनवः सुगतिदाः सा मातृभूमिर्मम ||
भाव (Substance) :
That is my motherland where the good path is shown by the auspiciously rich cattle of the Sruthi that move with the legs of the Chandas, ears of Nirukta, nose of Siksha, calves of Svadharma, the forelegs of Kalpa, faces of Vyakarana, glances of Jyotisha that are clear and victorious.
3. भूमिः क्षेमकरी क्षमा शुचि जलं स्नेहात्मकं जीवनम्
तेजः श्रीकरणं पवित्रपवनः संस्कारवाणी वियत्।
बुद्धिः सुस्थिरता मनः सुरचनं सम्यक् क्रियाऽहंकृतिः
यत्रैताः हृदि जागृताः प्रकृतयः सा मातृभूमिर्मम ||

That is my motherland where the people are well enlightened in their hearts with the land being prosperous, water pure, life friendly, light rich, wind holy, the space reverberating with cultured speech, intellect firm, mind full of good thoughts and actions done with involvement of the self.
4. देवानां स्तुतयः सरिद्वनभुवां चासत्सतां ता ऋचः
यज्ञानां विधयः क्रियाक्रमफलाङ्गानां यजूंषि श्रियः।
श्रेयोमार्गविधायकानि च नृणां सामान्यथर्वाणि च
ब्रह्मज्ञा अथ यत्र चोपनिषदः सा वेदभूमिर्मम ||

That is my land of the Vedas where the Riks praise the gods, rivers, forests and lands, and also the being and the non-being; the Yajush mantras offer prosperous rites of the sacrifices that bestow the fruits of ordained actions; the simple Atharva mantras show the way to prosperity to men; and where there are Upanishads and people who have realized the Brahman.
5. वेदाः साङ्गपदक्रमोपनिषदः शाखाण्यनेकानि च
प्रज्ञास्थानपुराणकाव्यरचनाः धर्मेतिहासाः कथाः।
अयुर्धर्मरहस्ययोगनटनाः सङ्गीतसूक्तिप्रियो
विद्या यत्र परोपकारविभवाः सा झानभूमिर्मम ||

That is my land of wisdom where exist. . the Vedas with their auxiliary sciences and Upanishads, many sciences, Puranas, Kavyas, texts on Dharma, Itihasas, Kathas, works on Health, Dharma, Yoga, Tantra and Drama, and also on Music and ethics, and all the knowledge streams are rich with concept of helping others.
6. वनाङ्गान्ध्रकलिङ्गकेरलमहाराष्ट्रोर्ध्वकार्णाटिकाः
पालीप्राकृतसिन्धुगुर्जरतुलुरैलिङ्गकाश्मीरिकाः।
भाषाः शास्त्रपुराणभागवतसद्रामायणाद्यर्थदाः
यत्रान्याः श्रुतयश्च संस्कृतिपराः सा भारतीभूर्मम ||
भाव (Substance) :
That is my land of Speech where there are different languages belonging to Vanga, Anga, Andhra, Kalinga, Kerala, Maharashtra, North Karnataka, Pali, Prakrit, Sindhi, Gurjara, Tulu, Trilinga and Kashmir enriched with literature comprising Sciences, Puranas, Bhagavata, Ramayana and other culturally valuable texts.
7. ग्रामाणां सरितां पुरां च नगरीपल्लीमहीनां गवां
मन्त्राणामधिदेवताः विविधवस्तूनां क्रियाणां सुराः।
भूदेवाः गृहदेवताः कृषिफलाः कामप्रदा देवताः
यत्राऽघौघहराश्च विघ्नशमनाः सा देवभूमिर्मम ||
भाव (Substance) :
That is my land of gods where there are deities of villages, rivers, cities, towns, hamlets, lands, cattle, mantras, different things, actions, and gods of property, residence, ag. riculture, and those who bestow boons, and remove sins and obstacles.
8. इन्द्रः श्रीरनलः शुचित्वमनलः प्राणं यमः संयम
संरक्षां निर्ऋतिः मणीश्च वरुणः श्रीदो धनं शर्म चेट्।
रामो धर्ममुमा सुभाग्यमरुजं सूर्यःसमस्तं हरिः
यत्रैवं विबुधाः प्रजासुखधराः सा देवभूमिर्मम ||
भाव (Substance) :
That is my land of Gods where Indragives wealth, Agni purity, Vayu life breath, Yama restraint, Niriti protection, Varunagems, Kubera riches, Siva peace, Rama dharma, Uma prosperity, Sun health and Vishnu everything, and where such gods hold the welfare of the people.
9. माता भर्तृसुतेष्टदा स च पिता वृत्तिप्रदो भ्रातरः
स्नेहार्द्राः क्षणदा भगिन्य उचिता गाथा गुरुर्भाषते।
वृद्धाः क्षेमकरोपदेशनपराः सौभात्रयात्राः समे
ग्रामे यत्र गृहे समैक्यपरता सा धर्मभूमिर्मम ||
भाव (Substance):
That is my land of dharma where mother serves what is liked by the husband and children, father gifts pro
fession, brothers give friendly relief, sisters are good, teacher tells stories, elders offer beneficial advice + ice are auspicious processions in the village and unity in the house.
10. अस्वार्था हितकृत्तयः सुशिवसङ्कल्पाः प्रसेवाप्रियाः
अव्यापारपरायणाः क्षणमपि व्यर्थक्रिया नैव ये।
स्वक्षेत्रे परिधौ क्रियाः विदधते ते क्षेमसद्भावनाः
यत्रास्मत् स्वजनाः उदारचरिताः सा कर्मभूमिर्मम ॥
भात (Substance) :
That is my land of action where the beneficial actions are selfless, having good intentions and interested in service; there are no wasteful business activities, tasks are done in the field of one’s limits, every activity is endowed with prosperity and good feelings, and the people are noble.
11. प्राणायामपवित्रकार्यनियमप्रत्याहृतिस्वासन –
ध्यानाभ्यासयमात्मधारणमयोऽष्टाङ्गः शमस्थापकः।
योगश्चितनिरोध ईशकरुणास्मृत्यादिना लम्यते
यत्रानन्तशरीररोगहरणः सा योगभूमिर्मम ||
भाव (Substance) :
That is my land of Yoga where meditation with the eight limbs of Yama, Niyama, Asana, Pranayama, Pratyahara, Dhyana, Dharana and Samadhi helps in restraining the flow of thoughts, and which is attained by the grace of the Lord with the help of Smritis, and which helps in treating the many diseases of the body.
12. लोकस्यैव हिताय संस्कृतिदृढत्वायैकतासिद्धये
सौकर्याय परस्परोपकरणव्यापारजीवातवे।
विज्ञानाय विवेचनाय सततश्रेयोविधानर्षयो
यत्र ज्ञानधराः जयन्ति मुनयः सा क्ष्मा तपोभूर्मम ||
भाव (Substance) :
That is my land of Tapas where the stream of knowledge of the sages becomes victorious as it strives for the welfare of the world, strengthening of the culture, attaining unity, giving comfort; help in mutual transactions, wisdom, discretion and for eternal prosperity.
13. गङ्गा पापहरा रुजाहयमुना गोदावरी पावनी
कृष्णा दोषहरा मलापहसरस्वत्यैन्द्री प्रणीता नदी।
कावेरी विकृतिक्षरी च सरयू रेवा ह्यसी नर्मदा
एवं यत्र नदाः सरन्ति सरितः सा सिन्धुभूमिर्मम ||
भाव (Substance):
That is my land of rivers where the Ganga removes sins, Yamuna treats diseases, Godavari purifies, Krishna removes defects, Saraswathi eliminates impurities, Kaveri ends calamities, and where rivers such as Indravati, Praneetha, Sarayu, Narmada, Asi etc flow.
14. संस्काराः चिरसम्प्रदायरुचिराः पाका नवा भावनाः
आयुर्जीवनसाधनान्यकलुषाण्यव्याजसत्यानि च।
सर्वप्राण्युपकारकारि सुमहद् विज्ञानमार्णामृतं
मीमांस्यं खलु यत्र सा विजयते विज्ञानभूमिर्मम ||

That wisdom land of ours becomes victorious where impressions belonging to hoary tradition are agreeable, new thoughts are well ripened, the means to healthy life are pure and truthful, and there will be reflections on the great lore of the sages that is beneficial to all the beings.
15. आचारः सदनुष्ठितिः जपतपोयोगाः सपर्या स्मृतिः
ध्यानं होम उपासनं कृषिरुदास्तिः शुभास्था धृतिः।
यागो जागरिका समर्चनम् उपादानं प्रदानार्पणे
यत्रैवंविधलोकदेवयजनं सा यज्ञभूमिर्मम ||
