A) Withdrawing Money

i) By Withdrawal Form – The depositor has to go personally to the bank. The withdrawal form must always be accompanied by the passbook.

B) Depositing Money

When you deposit money in the Savings Bank Account you have to take a SAVINGS BANK ACCOUNT PAY-IN-SUP and enter the details. The slip has two parts. The smaller one is called the counter foil which is returned to you as a record after the transaction is completed. The longer slip is retained by the bank. If the deposit is made through a cheque/DO the details are to be entered in the pay-in-slip.
