Do the following:

Akshara bought 3 m 40 cm cloth for her shirt and 1 m 10 cm cloth for skirt. Find the total cloth bought by her.
Answer:
Length of cloth bought for shirt = 3.40
Length of cloth bought for skirt = 1.10
Total length of cloth bought by Akshara = 3.40 + 1.10 = 4.50 cm
