Birds are natural wonders of beauty. Flying is the prerogative solely of birds. The entire universe is their home. Their mellifluous calls, queenly dance, gossamer quill and artistic sculpture make them special. India has quite a few forest reserves which are home to some rarely seen and endangered species of birds.

Located about 24km from the Chennai City Centre, Namnangalam is a massive forest sprawling across 2400 hectares, of which 320 is reserved. Each year nearly 1.2 million people die and millions of other, are injured or disabled as a result of road traffic crashes. The vast majority (over 90%) of all road traffic deaths and injuries occur in low-income and middle-income countries.

In high-income countries, most of those killed or injured in road traffic crashes are drivers and passengers of four-wheeled vehicles. In low-income and middle-income countries, however, “vulnerable road users” – pedestrians, cyclists and motorcyclists and users of public transportation – constitute a higher proportion of road users, and consequently make up a larger proportion of those injured or killed on the roads.

He opened the bag and it had full of money – all 2000 rupees notes. He thought that it might be nearly one crore rupees. In spite of his problems he did not want to touch others’ money. He was honest. He at once drove his auto to the police station. The couple were there already giving a complaint about the missing bag. They recognised Ramu and their bag in his hands and told that it was their own bag. Ramu handed over the bag to the couple. They checked their bag and found their bag intact. They were happy to receive their money. They rewarded Ramu with a sum of ten lakh rupees. But Ramu did not like to take. The Inspector of police pressed him to accept it. Ramu accepted the money finally.
