  • The age profile of a country’s population — does it have more young people than old people, or vice versa? What are the consequences of this?
  • How can we tell how old a tree, a horse, or a rock is?
  • What is the ‘life expectancy’ of various living things, and various populations (how long can they reasonably expect to live)?

Answer:
In our country the majority of the population is young. The great benefit of it is that these people are able to work hard for the progress of the country. Today, we have scientific methods by which we can measure the age of a human being, a plant or a rock. Various living things have different life expectancy.

The Invention of Vita Wonk Summary in English

The owner of the chocolate factory, Mr. Willy Wonka, invented Wonka-Vite. This medicine would make the person become younger than his age. On experimenting, it was found to be too strong that the person who took it became too younger and also disappeared.

The reason was that their age reached in minus. One person’s age became minus 87 which meant that the person was supposed to wait for 87 years to be visible to the mankind. Thus Mr. Wonka decided to invent a new thing to reverse the changes, i.e. to make person older than younger.

Once he took the decision towards his new invention, he started searching answers for questions such as “What is the oldest living thing in the world ?” and “What lives longer than anything else ?” Charlie answered that it was a tree.

Then Mr. Wonka remembered that Bristlecone Pine trees that grow in the slopes of Wheeler Peak in Nevada, USA are the longest living things than anything else. Thus Mr. Wonka went into the Gredt Glass Elevator to travel across the world to find and collect the ingredients for his new invention.

Thus he collected a pint of sap from a 4000-year-old Bristlecone pine tree, toe-nail clippings from a 168-year-old Russian farmer, an egg laid by a 200-year-old tortoise, the tail of 51-year-old horse and so on. In his Inventing Room after working with all these collected ingredients, for several hours together, he prepared a cupful of oily black liquid.

A 20-year-old volunteer, Oompa-Loompa was given four drops of it and the result was that he became 75 years old and his strong body became wrinkling, hair and teeth started falling out. Thus he announced that his invention of Vita-Wonk was a success.
