She said her morning prayer while she bathed and dressed me with the hope that I too would learn. I listened because I loved her voice but never bothered to learn it. Then she would fetch my wooden slate which she had already washed and plastered with yellow chalk, a tiny inkpot and pen, tie them all in bundle and hand it to me. After a breakfast of thick stale chapati with a little butter or sugar spread on it, we went to school.

My grandmother always went to school with me because the school was attached to the temple. The priest taught us the alphabets and the morning prayer. Write a short paragraph on your favourite sport/game.
Answer:
My favourite flame
Cricket is my favourite game. It is an interesting game.

Cricket was born in England but grew well in the Indian sub-continent. It was once played in only Common Wealth countries. But it is now an international game.

One or more countries in each continent play cricket. Though it was born in England, England has not won the World Cup hitherto.

There are certain rules about this game. Two teams take part in it. Each team has 11 players, some Of them are pure batsmen, some are pure boilers and some are allrounders. The wicket-keeper is often a good batsman. Bowlers are of two types namely pace-bowlers and spin bowlers. The captain of the team who wins the toss decides whether to bat first or field first. The team which scores more runs wins the game.

Previously only 5-day test matches were played. Later, along with test-matches, one-day matches in which each team can play for a maximum of fifty overs. Nowadays 20-20 matches are also played. One-day International matches have World-Cup matches which are played for every four years. India won the 1983 World Cup under the captaincy of Kapil Dev, and the 2011 World Cup under the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

In India, I.P.L. matches are being played which attract the attention of the millions. Our Indian batsman, Sachin Tendulkar, has scored the most runs as well as the most centuries in cricket.
